Welcome to Coach's Corner, my slice of the internet to discuss software development, team management, and what it means to be a software development manager.

Over the last 15 years, I've spent time building teams and leading teams. A lot of that was done flying by the seat of my pants. I tried to lead from example but I've come to understand that people learn in different ways and different groups require different leadership styles.

In the last few years, I've started coalescing my thoughts on dev team management and what it means to manage software development teams. I'm going to share those thoughts, and more, in this space.
